The new release from Anathema - acoustic re-interpretations of classic tracks Kscope is pleased to announce Falling Deeper, the new, fully orchestral album from Anathema. Falling Deeper continues where the acclaimed 2008 album Hindsight left off. The album features brand new arrangements of songs and haunting melodies from the band’s earliest days as pioneers of heavy music. This is an album which will excite old and new Anathema fans equally. A fresh musical and lyrical approach has transformed songs such as Crestfallen, Kingdom, Sunset of Age and Everwake, which features the incredible voice of Anneke van Giersbergen. The record has been produced by Daniel Cavanagh and was recorded and mixed by Andrea Wright at the legendary Parr St Studios, Liverpool (where the likes of Elbow, Coldplay and Echo and the Bunnymen have also recorded albums). The orchestral arrangements are from Dave Stewart who worked so successfully with Anathema on We’re Here Because We’re Here. Released in 2010, We’re Here Because We’re Here was awarded Classic Rock’s Prog 'Album of the Year' as well as a host of other accolades. Falling Deeper will be packaged in a deluxe digibook Tracklist Crestfallen / Sleep in Sanity 6.43 Kingdom 3.59 They Die 2.20 Sunset of Age 7.32 Everwake 3.09 We The Gods 3.00 I Made A Promise 4.10 Alone 6.36
Falling Deeper is a collection of reimagined songs from the band’s earlier work, much like 2008 release ‘Hindsight’. Tracks which feature vocals have minimalistic lyrical content and lots of repetition.

(Redirected from Falling Deeper (Anathema album))
Falling Deeper is an album of orchestral re-interpretations from British atmosphericrock band Anathema released on 5 September 2011. Softune workbench v3 racer. The album is a follow-up to 2008's Hindsight, for which the band recorded different versions of their past songs.
The album was produced by singer/guitarist Vincent Cavanagh and guitarist and main composer of the band Daniel Cavanagh who defines the record as “a nod to our past and a look to our future all at the same time, with a sound that is designed to transport you to the heart of the present moment.” The mixing was made by Andrea Wright at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool. The orchestral arrangements are composed by the band in collaboration with Dave Stewart who worked with Anathema on We're Here Because We're Here.
The songs received new musical and vocal arrangements with 'feedback' lead guitars centred on a grand piano and a rhythm section.[3] Dutch singer Anneke van Giersbergen sings on 'Everwake', a song originally released on the 1992 EP The Crestfallen, and on '..Alone'.
